A while back I accidently deleted iChat.
I looked for ways to install it back on my system.
I tried extracting the iChat package from the "Mac OS X Upgrade DVD" using pacifist,
initially it looked like the solution to my problem. It wasn't. Then I tried installing
iChat with the "Optional Installs" in the "Mac OS X Upgrade DVD".
It installed the application but there is a new problem.

Whenever I try to click on the button with the "A"(Send message) button on the bottom
of the iChat screen or try to send a message by double-clicking on one of my friends
in iChat, the application does not respond and quits.

I've read other posts but none of them have helped me.

If you can help me in any way, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thank you.
