iChat video and Error 8

Everytime I try to use iChat to video-chat with someone, I get "error code -8". I've searched some of the other support forums for help, and I know that this is a common problem, but all the explanantions to fix it have been very jargon heavy, and I'm not nearly computer literate enough to understand them.

I'm on a new MacBook Pro and this is my second mac. Any help would be greaty appreciated.
