I'm still not sure if this is a display issue or a MacBook Pro issue...any help would be appreciated!
I have my 24" LED display attached to my 2008 MacBook Pro and the video is constantly flickering when in use when using iChat. This only happens when attached to the display...never on the MacBook Pro itself.
At first it just happened with one USB port, but since the latest firmware update, it happens with both ports now. Too, the sound used to be very faint when this occurred, now that no longer appears to be a problem, just the video.
I've tried re-setting the USB port per info I found on the forums by pulling out the battery for 15 minutes and then re-installing and that does fix the problem for a short while, but then it goes back to the same old same old. I've also noticed that Photobooth is unusable when this issue occurs...the display simply freezes up altogether.
Does anybody else experience this? It's very frustrating. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
