Quick question. When i connect my computer ethernet cable directly to my comcast modem, i can connect video with anyone on their mac ichat.

When i connect the modem to my Netgear router and then i could only connect with certain people. Like everyone in my network. and my brother who is connected via Ethernet at his house.

With my girl when she's connected at her house with her verizon modem DSL via ethernet i can video chat, when she is connected via wi-fi (wireless) i can't see her (video) online. Also my brother, when he connects his iMac with wireless, i can't connect via video either.

Any Ideas? When i'm connected directly to my modem DSL box, i'm able to video chat with anyone who has video. But when i'm connected via router to dsl, i'm only able to video with people who are connected via ethernet cable and not if they are connected wirless. Not in my LAN.

BTW i have my firewall set to allow all access now. it was on set access to specific... when i was trying.
