iChat vs. AIM

what's better for just pure aol im usage. ichat or aim? i used ichat for a while, then switched exclusively to aim, and now am thinking of switching back or using... adium? what do you guys think? pros/cons to each prog?

Between the two I'd say iChat wins. Aren't they releasing a new beta AIM client that supposedly doesn't suck as bad?

yea i would recommend ichat over aim for mac any-day

I'll third the vote for iChat. Better integrated, updated more often, etc. Pretty much better in every way than the AIM client.

iChat for AIM, AdiumX for the handful of of contacts that refuse to switch to AIM for my benefit

The Mac AIM client is in serious need of an update. And until they do, I reccommend iChat.

Wow, you were actually able to find/download AIM for Mac? I never could, so I just stuck with ichat until college started. Then switched to Adium, and haven't looked back.
