iChat weirdness...

800 MHz iBook G3, 10.3.8.

After two years since switching, I am finally having my first problem with my Mac, yay!

iChat won't launch. the little triangle appears under iChat in the dock for about 2 seconds, then it disappears. No errors, no nothing.

I have no clue where to begin. Any suggestions?
