Upgraded to 10.5.3 yesterday and all is good with the exception of iChat.

Can log into my AIM account.

When I double click on a name to chat - I get nothing. Sometimes I get the "spinning wheel" and then it crashes. Everyone on my buddy list appears and my account appears online to people who I am on their list. They send messages and on their end it looks to send, but I never get them on my end.

I had this happen on my parents computer about a month ago and had to completely erase and reload 10.5 to solve the problem, but I have to think there is an easier solution than that.

For the record, I have trashed the 'plist' files from the user/library/preferences folder multiple times....

UPDATE: I have tried some other things and get the same results:

1) I have opened my AIM account in a 'test' login account. Still, same symptoms as first described.
2) I tried using iChat with my .Mac account and adding a buddy to test chat - same thing.

So, clearly the issue is not with my AIM account, but rather with iChat or something associated with it.

Anyone having similar issues?
