iChat windows does NOT open when starting iChat!!

Greetings!
Just started to occur... i am sure I am forgetting something. BUT, still no iChat opening window on the screen when starting iChat, iChat tool bar on top only visble.
Any quick. obvious remedy??

Couple of things. Did you try clicking the iChat icon twice?

Click it once, you see it bounce? you hear the sound? click it again do you see the window?

If not open the iChat preference, click twice on the account that checked, it should open that way too.

Also if iChat is in your menu bar, you can also goto Window>#iChatAccount# and it should show then too.

This typically happens if you "X" out of the iChat then do "Quit" or something similar. iChat opens the same way it was closed, with the iChat window gone.

that happens to me to. What i do is apple + 1 and that opens the buddy list. Good luck.

Hope someone knows how to make it open by itself. I haven't really tried... to busy to try to find it at this point.
