iChat won't open!

I woke up, popped open my PowerBook, clicked the iChat icon in the dock, and watched as it bounced up and down for a minute. It says "not responding" when I hover the mouse over the hopping icon so I force quit it. I try again to open it and get the same results. So, I restarted the computer. Still nothing....

Anyone have an idea of what I can do to fix this?

My first thought when something like that happens is to run disk permissions and reset the PRAM.
