Hey guys!
Now that nina chat has been discontinued, could you recommend AIM or JABBER servers so I can connect to ichat? Although this type of instant messaging is not the main style of communication in Brazil, I enjoy using it and seeing my ichat working.

I researched a lot and didn't find any server that was like nina chat.

It's been a couple months since I last tried it, but I used ChivaNet's iChat (AIM) server and it worked great.

I’ve used https://chatterboxtown.us/ with the Messages app on 10.9, that would be my recommendation! (Except that I had no one to chat with. But I could log in and send messages to myself.)

Alternatively, in theory https://jmp.chat/ should also work and would allow you to send actual SMS messages, although it does cost money! (I haven’t used it only because I don’t want my friends to receive text messages from a weird number, and I don’t want to port my actual phone number.)

Can you use Adium as a sidestep?

Adium really doesn't work, it clearly needs a patch to work with alternative AIM and MSN servers, escargot and NINA never worked, it just tries connecting to the official servers. iChat and the AIM app (after patching, i have some clients i patched with the unreleased patcher for OS X, i'll archive them soon) work with NINA (iirc, idk if NINA has completely shut down after the website went down) just fine though, and MSN 3.0 works with escargot after modifying the hosts file, mentioned in a macintoshgarden upload of the app.

Guys after search on the web the nina server was migrated to escargot server.

Nina yet its working.
