I just restored my phone (long horrible story) and am trying to sign up for iCloud now. I've tried in the past to use it and had all sorts of problems which I won't go into now but here I am again - after having just completed the latest software update - trying to use iCloud once again.
To fully disclose, my phone was still plugged into my laptop - in iTunes - when I first tried this. After nothing worked, I unplugged the phone from the laptop but the problem didn't go away. The problem is that when I go into my settings on my 6+ and click on iCloud, everything on that page is faded out and I can't click on the individual parts or alter anything. The only part I CAN click on is the part at the top which says "New iCloud Terms and Conditions" and then says "to use iCloud on this phone you must accept the new terms and conditions." That would be perfectly fine with me but when I click on "terms and conditions" (to read it) and then click on "agree," nothing happens. The screen doesn't say anything like "done" or take me to another page - it just stays there, frozen. Even the cancel option doesn't work (to go to another screen or go back to previous screen etc) nor does hitting agree again which is still highlighted as if I hadn't clicked on it. Nothing can be clicked on and the only way out is to hit the home button. If I go out that way then go back in via settings, it starts all over again. Restarting the phone doesn't change anything either.
So, I don't know if iCloud's up and running or not. When I go to finder on my Macbook Pro laptop then click on iCloud Drive I see photos there under 'images.' But because they're not organized any longer by date, it's a mess. I assume that means it's working but I don't know - they might only be older photos... I just don't know.
Is anyone else experiencing this? Is it yet another bug? Seems like every update fixes a few old ones then adds a bunch more problems.
