iCloud and photos

Hi Guys

Can anyone advise me on this. I would like for all photos (photos i take, people send me, or screen captures ) on my iPhone to be backed up on iCloud.

Below is the set up on my iPhone. ( I don't need to share photos on my iPhone on my other IOS devices or Macbook)

I would like to be able to delete the photos i don't need on my iPhone but still keep the original store in iCloud.

Is this the right set up for it?

I don't think there is a way to do that. If you delete the photo from your phone, it will also be deleted from iCloud.
