iCloud and preview

I saw a message about using preview and textedit in iCloud. Is there a way to access these files on my iPad or from iCloud.com (yes I know how to use dropbox and all that, but I want a universal cloud based storage and currently use pages, so having both drop box and iCloud for pages is frustrating).

I assume if this feature doesn't currently exist, it will be coming soon to ios8. Thank you!!

No way now. There are rumors that TextEdit and preview are coming in iOS 8, but no official word yet.

so what is the point of saving preview documents in the cloud if you can't access them from anywhere else?
