iPhone XS Max iCloud backup file for XS max 43GB vs 1.8GB on X

Anyone notice an unusual increase in the size of their icloud backup files? Note: both X and XS Max were on iOS 12, and X was backed up yesterday morning prior to my setting up XS Max.

Appreciate your thoughts!

Update: I've since deleted the iPhone XS Max backup and backed up again. The size is now 1.2GB.
