I have an iPhone 6S Plus running iOS 9.1. iCloud backup has been working automatically - backing up my device every night.

Just about 2 weeks ago, this stops working. I can still run the backup manually, but it's no longer automatic. I haven't made changes to my network (Time Capsule), my iPhone (no jailbreak) or iCloud settings. I don't backup Photos or Videos, just apps.

I did notice the following things:
  1. When I reboot my iPhone or turn on/off Bluetooth, a prompt pop-up asking me to enter my iCloud password.
  2. Sometimes the manual backup failed, so I had to do iTunes backup, then the manual iCloud backup work
  3. From Settings --> General --> Storage & iCloud Usage --> iCloud --> Manage Storage --> My iPhone, I noticed that apps that I have uninstalled and no longer wants to be backed up is still listed. I.e.: iCloud backup all apps, including app ABC. I uninstalled ABC and go to the Settings above and turned off the iCloud backup for ABC. Usually ABC will be removed from iCloud backup, but now it stays.

Anyone experienced this?
