iCloud Backup not working

I can't seem to be able to backup to iCloud, when I start the backup it tells me something like 6 hours left (!!) but when I return to look a few hours later it just says: Last Backup: Never

What gives?

Wow there's clearly something wrong i mean 6 hours? Mine takes 3 min tops!

My first backup took 9 hours (Plugged in overnight.) That was during beta 4, though. Current backups take about 4 minutes, but it has to upload the huge amount of data for the backup. My backup is 4.4 GB, so it had to upload the entirety of that on the first backup. Subsequent backups only take a few minutes, as they only send changes.

I don't even get to the subsequent backup stage as the very first backup always fails for no apparent reason.
