I'm sure I'm not the only one to use iCloud backup on iOS 9 but what has happened is odd as the procedure is normally painless.
So as a test to eradicate a very slight lag on the lock screen (which seems better I must add) I reset my phone to factory default and set up as new and went through the process of dl & setting everything up again which actually wasn't as bad as I thought! Now as a test I could see that my 5c got a new lifeline with a shiny new slick os which so far has proven true.
So I thought perhaps now that I can see an improvement why not reset and restore a back up so I get the only thing I am missing sweating up new (my mine craft save!) so reset and chose the backup I wanted to restore and this backup was a few hundred mb off 2gb so not large by any means however I kicked it off on a very good wifi connection and it just wasn't getting any further on the progress bar. After 20 mins it was still estimating. So I forced the phone off and setup as new again.
Since upgrading to iOS 9 has anyone else successfully restored a device backup??
