Hey everyone,

Recently I got a new iPhone. To transfer a few things over (ex. text messages) I decided to do an iCloud backup from my old iPhone. The size of that backup is relatively small (about 500 MB, though there's no videos, photos or music). Signed out of the old iPhone after I backed it up, then signed in on my new iPhone and started restoring from that iCloud backup. It's been more than 24 hours and it still says it's restoring.

What's going on here?

Never wait for 24hours.

Sounds like you lost connection. Just stop it and retry. It can take a while but anything over an hour and you need to try again. First time takes the most time and after that it seems to happen in only a few minutes.

Alright, I stopped it. Still have all old texts (the only thing I needed from the backup), so I'm done. :D
