iCloud Backup to Large?

I believe I have found a bug in iOS 8 unless I'm missing something. I haven't been able to backup through iCloud since the update. The page clearly says that my next backup is 3.2 gb but it says that I don't have enough space in my iCloud account. I haven't upgraded to iCloud Drive or the new iCloud Photo feature so nothing should have changed. My math says that 3.2 < 5.0 so what gives?? Anybody else seeing this issue?

i had the same problem. forced me to delete the old backup, before i could backup on ios8.

Did that solve your problem? Were you able to backup everyday afterwards with no problem?
