iCloud backup to PC

Looking for a way to directly backup my icloud content (messages, photos, etc) from iCloud to PC. Any thoughts?

Just recently I saw a thread or was Goooogling around and saw software that claims to download your iCloud backup. I'm sorry I don't have a link handy or remember any details so all I can say is keep poking around if nobody comes up with a clear answer.
