My icloud doesnt backup since 95 weeks usage 50gb , and today i buy 50GB plan backup this morning and now 5 PM still 70% running ...

too slow ,

my wifi xfinity comcast should fast enough

dont know why it take so long /

Lesson learned; backup slightly more often than every 95 weeks, but not when millions of people are hammering Apple’s servers.

10 hours would be about right to upload 50 GB of data at the upstream bandwidth Comcast provides (about 10-12 mbps up no matter what downstream speed you have). This is one reason why cloud solutions are still not a great option for some users — they rely on being able to upload, and most ISPs don provide a reasonable amount of upload bandwidth.

Yep mine took several hours too but it did get there in the end. I think that Apples servers are being hammered with so many phones being sold.

I think with Apple servers being hammered... on top of 50 gigs! I mean.. I definitely can see that taking a while

So when i restore to new devices will they about take same thing 10 hour ???

Finally i am done backup 50GB

took almost end of the day ,

its like back 1997 when we downloading some movie online and wait all day :)

Ah yes. The good old days. When you waited hours to download a favorite anime MOV file (that's a Quicktime Movie file for you youngins) from one of those FTP servers. You started at the PC/Mac waiting for it to finish. Coffee and popcorn made it slightly tolerable.

Man I feel old.
