Hello,

There's one contact in my list whose number contains an extension, which I want to be dialled automatically. The number is stored in the phone like this: +40800555555,123456#. And I often have to call it hands-free while driving.
Unfortunately, Siri can't seem to dial it, probably because it doesn't like the local area code (different story - I've described it in another thread). So, I'm left with using my car's native voice dialling system, which brings me to a strange issue.
It used to work fine until recently. The car's system used to dial all the digits correctly. However, during the last few days I noticed that it won't dial the extension anymore. When I look at the contact's details on the car's touch screen, I can see just the number, but no extension. The car is not aware that there's any extension at all. The car will automatically download the contacts list from the phone each and every time it connects to the phone via BT.
The thing that must have caused this change is that I recently moved most of my contacts, this one included, from my Google account to iCloud.

So:
- if the contact is stored in the Google account, then the iPhone will sync the complete number (extension and all) with the car's BT system.
- if the contact is stored in iCloud, then the iPhone will sync only the basic number with the car's BT system, ignoring the extension. The car is not aware that any extension actually exists.

Why's this? Is it a known limitation of iCloud? Is it a bug? Is it something I'm doing wrong?

Thank you.
