How do I back up all my contacts to icloud or another app? I have contacts on Gmail, outlook and facebook but only like 40ish get back up. How can I back up them all on to iclould or an app?

Are they all synced to your phone? I've no idea if this will work but I've had some trouble with iCloud and syncing contacts. If you switch off iCloud on your phone it should offer to 'keep your contacts on this phone'. Select to keep them and they should be saved as a hard copy, which you can then backup manually to a computer (which I prefer) or iCloud by re-enabling it. It's possible your phone will offer the same thing if you switch off the gmail sync. No idea about Facebook though... I will never trust them with access to my phone or contacts!
