iCloud drive and keychain

Hi,

I'm bit confused of how the iCloud drive works. I have iPad with iOS 8, iPhone 4 with iOS 7 and MacBook ith Yosemite public beta.
If I turn on iCoud Drive on iPad and MacBook, will the apps/services like Keychain, apps data etc sync also on iPhone, or it will be disabled becouse its not iOS8? Or this has nothing to do with iCloud Drive?
