Okay, this is weird. I have the Yosemite Public Beta installed on my Mac. I am not a IOS 8 Beta tester. I was just accessing Pages on my IOS 7 iPad and it asked me if I would like to convert to iCloud Drive. I said yes and my files from my Mac appeared on my iPad. The message also said to sync my files across all platforms I would need to upgrade to IOS 8. Strange. I didn't think iCloud Drive files would work with IOS 7. I got the same message in Numbers.

Its convoluted at the moment because Yosemite has already "upgraded" your documents to "iCloud Drive" status.

Keep at and see if you can in fact seamless edit files on both platforms without errors or conflicts, because I don't believe you can.

I created a new AppleId to use with Yosemite... this will be a complete mess with lost contacts, notes.. etc oh and nudies :)
I´m sure it´ll be fine in the end, but the transition can be problematic

What is also weird is when I go into Pages, it asks me if I'd like to upgrade to IOS 8.

I can't in fact, even though it has downloaded my iCloud Drive to my iPad, it won't upload them. When it tries, it asks if I want to upgrade to IOS 8, which I can't do since I'm not an IOS beta tester.
