Hi guys, been trying to solve this issue of storage space on my iPhone 11.
I have the 128gb model and my phone only uses 80gb of space for all the data. So I am left with around 40gb free space. However, WhatsApp is asking to clear more space (almost 30gb) when there already is space to restore media from my backup.
Because of this, I also noticed that I have iCloud Drive data stored on my iPhone storage as "Others" and not in the cloud (I accessed it from a browser and can't see the files) that I can't seem to access to check or delete. I however, also noticed that it is the same size as what WhatsApp is showing in app for the back up.
Its so frustrating that I wished I bought the 256 model.
Anyone have any idea how I should proceed without deleting the WhatsApp backup that I have in the cloud?
