iCloud Drive out for Windows before Mac OS X

Thats because on Windows you are installing a piece of software, whereby on a Mac its integrated into the OS. It may be available on Windows first, but your experience will be much better on a Mac.
 
iCloud drive not syncing for me, I have an empty folder :(
iCloud Photo syncs fine.

Tryed reinstalling, didn't help :(

That's debatable, some of us are running Yosemite but I'm going to wait until final release before judging that.

I really really wished both were released at the same time even if it meant waiting for iOS 8. But given the iphone 6 release date I guess that wasn't an option.

Everyone does realize that you can access iCloud Drive through iCloud.com, which is platform agnostic. :D
 
Just tested using Dropbox (only app I could find with the Document Picker) and files are in sync within seconds of each other. Not bad.

Still waiting on an app that works as an iCloud Drive app.
 
This is all way too confusing, photos on iOS with iCloud Library, Photostream... iCloud Photos on Windows with My Photo Stream and Activity. Why oh why are there so many things?! Why can't I have one Thing and all my photos in that Thing :(

I don't get the confusion. All my photos on iOS are in "Recently Added". All my photos on my Windows PC are in iCloud Photos
 
How do you add photos to your iCloud Photos on Windows to make them show on your iOS device?
 
yep workig just fine on windows.

It's C:\Users\<username>\Pictures\iCloud Photos\My Photo Stream and the photos I put in there do not show up on my iPhone nor iPad. I tried in all 3 folders: My Photo Stream, Shared and Uploads.

Yea, refresh, checked Photos, Shared and Albums on iOS.

Still confusing.

Edit: I'm only talking about Photos ofc, iCloud Drive works.
 
PSA: icloud drive is live on windows, not os x

Icloud drive is not enabled for Windows. It will launch on os x with Yosemite.
 
if you download icloud control panel version 4.0... icloud drive works on windows 8. i'm using it.
