iCloud Drive search

Guys,
I mentioned the iCloud Drive on iPhone or iPad - does not search in manually uploaded files on it. It searches only in the default apps files only - numbers, pages etc. but if I upload several excel and pdf files on iCloud Drive and try to use search on my iPhone to find those files - it does not find anything.

Could you try and check in your drive ?

In fact I mentioned now it searches in the root area. If the file is put in folders and sub folders - it does not search inside. Pity.
