Hi,

I cannot find the answer to this question anywhere, I have googled for hours!

I have multiple Apple devices. If I upgrade my Apple ID to iCloud Drive, my iPhone 4 (still on iOS 6) will not be able to change to iCloud Drive and access any iCloud Documents, that I know.
But: Will it be able to sync contacts, calendars and the like with my other devices? Is the syncing of contacts, calendars, iCloud Keychain and internal iCloud-synced settings of third-party apps influenced by upgrading to iCloud Drive?

I would really appreciate any definitive answers to this problem!

My devices are:
  • iPhone 5S on iOS 8.3
  • iPad mini 1 on iOS 8.1.2
  • iPhone 4 on iOS 6.1.2 (which I still use for some tasks)
  • MacBook Pro 13" Late 2011 on OS X 10.9.5 (Mavericks)
I would like to upgrade everything apart from the iPhone 4 to the latest OS, that's why this problem arose.

Thank you in advance for any help!
