I noticed this morning that emails being sent from my iPhone (just updated to 18.6) were sitting in my outbox and eventually erroring out saying "Cannot Send Mail - The sender address was invalid". Im also getting this error on my desktop running the beta MacOS 26.0. My 2015 iMac is also having the issue.

The popup on the Macs say it can't send the email using the iCloud Server because my sender email address was rejected by p71-smtp.mail.me.com

Server Response: insufficient system storage

Then asks me to select a different sending server.

What is this stuff? I have 2TB of iCloud storage so it's not that. Apples system status shows there's no issues with iCloud mail. anything else I can do? ive already rebooted and logged out of iCloud and back in.

I’m getting this as well. As of about 1 hr ago.

Please find below out of my address book some free “email test” addresses…
You just send an email with the text “test” or similar and your mail will be returned with all the path your mail has made…
To your problem I wouldn’t no how to help… I didn’t have any problem today with ****@icloud.com or ****@me.com
