So I decided to turn on Find my Mac on my Mac Mini today. Here is the story of why I'm staring at the login screen with nothing but a beach ball.

Enable find my mac. Beach balled my system preferences. Forced quit system preferences and relaunched and now iCloud panel in system preferences won't even load. Try once more and still won't load. Figure a restart will fix it. iTunes cancels restart (grrrr). Force quit iTunes and computer restarts. Arrive back at login screen. Type password and hit enter. Beach ball. 30 minutes later, still beach ball.

I am able to ssh into the machine, but I haven't the slightest clue what I should do. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions, they would be very much appreciated. Google searches have turned up nothing thus far (no, Google, I don't want news articles about iCloud...).

EDIT: This seemed to fix my issue
