iCloud iCloud has slowed way down. What to do?

My iCloud has slowed way down on upload. It's currently taking about the length of time to push one JPEG file that it used to take to push five Nikon NEF raw files from the same camera. It's running at maybe five percent of where it was last fall, and considerably slower even than earlier this spring. And it doesn't seem to be due to my ISP. Any ideas? As things stand it's really kind of a dealbreaker for me for using iOS devices or Apple online services.

Same issue here - same issue with download as well - takes 2. In to open a. Loud 1MB doc!
