iCloud Keychain and user created passwords

Has anyone been able to create an iCloud Keychain password on a Mac (not through Safari. but a manual entry eg. my login for my Raspberry Pi, or the password for my USB Key) and been able to access/view it on an iPhone? Is it even possible?
