My grandfather let me borrow his iPad a couple weeks ago (along with a picture of passwords, that don't work...) to get it out of the iCloud lock page so he can use it. The PW's I was given were wrong, (feel like they're probably his wifi PW) so I tried to reset his PW.

I got in contact with my grandmother the other week to tell her about the security questions to reset the PW and she informs me that they ended up buying a new iPad, and that I can keep this one. But they didn't know the answer to the security questions...

So now I just have this iPad sitting in my house. Is there anyway I can get past this iCloud lock, or is this iPad essentially useless?
[doublepost=1498582916][/doublepost]Is my only option (besides for figuring out the correct PW), going to the apple store with my grandfather and having him show his ID, and then the apple store will bypass the lock?

Thanks for any help!
[doublepost=1498584794][/doublepost]Oh, wow! I just figured out my grandfather's PW from his chicken scratch! Cant believe the 100th try worked!

Thanks for everything though...
