Since installing the 10.11.1 update today my Mac won't let me log in at the splash screen - keeps saying the password is incorrect. If I hold the power button to force a shut down and turn it back on it lets me log in with the same password. I've been on to my account settings and changed the password to a new one and it's still doing the same thing, however my Apple ID is working on my iPad, iPhone and Apple TV.
Is anyone else having this problem? It's an absolute pain in the arse - I'm on hold to Apple Support now but wait time is donkeys.
