Hi

We have a single iMac, with one user account. However we each (husband and myself) have iPhones with separate Apple ID’s. How could we set things up, so our messages are stored in the cloud for both iPhones? Can this be done via the internet? Will this require a separate iMac user account for each of us?

Thanks

Jay

Messages can be stored in the cloud even if you have just an iphone.

But if you want to have access to them on your Mac (with the latest update) - then yes, you need to set up two accounts on your Mac, each linked to your iCloud accounts. It is a good idea anyway for security reasons. (I assume you simply have one account because it is easier to use with no login password?)
