"This Mac can't connect to iCloud because of a problem with g*****@****.net Open iCloud preferences to fix this problem."

...comes up persistently on my Mac. There is also an iPad and iPhone that share contacts, bookmarks, etc. So when I do what the message instructs, there is no clue there as to what I'm supposed to do next. Options... button is like preferences. Manage... button is for Storage settings. Set Up Family... button is for Family Sharing.

How do I restore the iCloud connection and satisfy the OS so that this message does not pop up?

The obvious thing to try is to sign out of iCloud and sign in again. Personally, I'd reboot between those two actions, just to "clean up" everything.

Thanks for the tip. :)
I did find that an old iPhone was still a listed device. I got rid of that. Maybe those two actions will do the trick.

Well, annoying messages continue to pop up. This time:
iCloud Approval Required
This Mac is still waiting for approval by another device.

We have an iPhone, an iPad, and Apple TV. Our Apple ID and Password have been entered on all three recently. What do I need to do to satisfy this monster?

This message hasn't come back for a few days now, but I doubt that it was anything I did that affected it. This has been an intermittent issue anyway. I'd sure like to know how to intentionally satisfy the "approval by another device" notice. Does anyone know?
