The ~/Library/Mobile Documents/ folder is the folder for iCloud documents. Can folders be created and shared DropBox style? I have 25GB's of storage space, seems a waste since Apple removed iDisk with the iCloud switch.

Nope, files are still sandboxed in their program folders, same as in DP1 and ML. I wish they'd loosen it up and allow us to have something similar to iDisk with that folder, and if they still want high security they can just require that the users give approval for the respective apps to access those files/folders. Still disappointing at this stage.

Thanks, I have been following a thread on MacRumors and it seems that Apple plans on making use of iCloud for file sharing in future DP's:

The iCloud folder that works exactly like dropbox is not in the build of Mavericks given at WWDC. Apple said it will be available to the developers in a future build.

Yes there will be a publicly visible iCloud folder that when documents are placed within will be openable by any application. The private folders for each application will be mostly hidden in the finder.

This is basically a dropbox killer with much better CPU usage, and much better bandwidth management.

Hoping this comes to pass. :)

Ha! Just noticed you're on that thread, and I almost quoted you lol
