I recently enabled iCloud Music Library on both my iPhone 6S Plus (running iOS 10.2) and my MBA (running macOS 10.12.2) and have run into a the below listed issues and problems.
iPhone
iTunes
TIA!
iPhone
- - Apple Music Playlist (which I created on my iPhone) songs
- - Do not appear in “iTunes iPhone Playlist” (i.e. the iPhone’s playlist as listed when the iPhone is connected to iTunes) even though the playlist and the songs appear on the iPhone. Is this normal and, if yes, why and, if not, what is the fix?
- - iTunes, at times (i.e. not always), becomes very slow (i.e. beach balls) when the iPhone is connected. Is this normal and, if yes, why and, if not, what is the fix?
- - “iTunes iPhone Workout playlist” (i.e. an old playlist that existed in iTunes and was synced to the iPhone before enabling iCloud Music Library)
- - Appears in “iTunes iPhone Playlist” despite not appearing in the iPhone or “iTunes Music Playlist”. How / why does this happen?
- - Cannot be deleted. How can this be deleted?
iTunes
- - Apple Music Playlist songs
- - Appear in “iTunes Library and Music Playlist” (i.e. iTunes Library of songs and iTunes Playlist of songs as listed iTunes) but do not appear in “Scandisk iTunes Folder” (i.e. the hard drive folder where my ripped and non-Apple Music downloaded music exists). Is this correct / normal and, if yes, why and, if not, what is the fix?
- - Appear in “iTunes Library and Music Playlist” but does not sync with my Sonos (i.e. re-indexing my SONOS does not result in the Apple Music Playlist songs being added to the SONOS). Is this because SONOS syncs with the “Scnadisk iTunes Folder”? Is this correct / normal and, if yes, why and, if not, what is the fix?
- - SONOS re-indexing either fails (with a message that the library is no longer available) or is extremely slow.
TIA!
