I was having a problem with a song I purchased not showing up so I thought I could try toggling on and off "iCloud Music Library". Then I though if I just turned it back on, it would force it. Kinda like a re-boot.
BUT...the option in music setting for iCloud Music is completely GONE! JUST GONE!
any advise here???

Never mind. I just discovered the answer. You have to either have iTunes Match or Apple Music or both in order to have iCloud Music library as an option. I had just recently unsubscribed from Match. However, since I had not turned off iCloud music library on my iPhone, the option was still there on my iPhone but not my iPad. I re subscribed to Match and now the option is back on my iPad and all is well.
Hope this helps someone who runs across the same issue.
