iCloud Not Syncing in Background

Hi guys,

It seems that for me iCloud Calendars do not sync in the background on my iPhone and iPad running iOS 7 GM. I can notice that by launching the Today view on one of the two after updating something on the other the calendar is not updated, and does not update until I open up the calendar app. Anyone else noticing this behavior?

On a side note, this was also present in beta 6.

Same thing is happening for me, neither Calendars or reminders sync unless I open the corresponding app.
