iCloud Notes Sync only 1way?

Hello, I am using Mountain Lion 10.8 and have my iCloud account set up to sync with my notes. I compose a note on my iPhone and it shows on ML 10.8. But when I compose a note from ML 10.8, it doesn't show on my iPhone. How can i have it to be pushed to my iPhone as well?
