I have the following notice on my Mac: iCloud Approval Required - This Mac is still waiting for approval by another device.

Continue

Opens the iCloud SysPrefs pane - This Mac must be approved by one of your other devices to use iCloud Keychain. If no other devices are available, reset iCloud Keychain. Reset or OK

I'm not about to do the reset. Emphasis added above, because it does not say all other devices. I already approved it from my iPad. Clicking OK does nothing besides close that "pop-down". As far as I know, the alert has not appeared on my wife's iPhone. But, her new phone is the culprit, as it was recently upgraded (the whole phone).

I did poke around in Keychain, which led to being required to change my Apple ID password. All devices (including Apple TV) have been logged in again, and should be playing nice.

In my iCloud SysPref pane > Security, it boldly indicates that 2FA is Off. That is not the issue. If anyone has another idea, please help!

This notice is inconsistent. I shut down every evening. Sometimes the notice pops up, sometimes it doesn't. If that's a clue about why it happens, I don't get it.

Any ideas?
Edit:
No help here, oh well...
