I updated from iOS 10.3.3 to iOS 11 Beta 6 last week. After the update, a chunk of my photos from back in 2014 (about 500) got reshuffled and are shown as the latest photos in "All Photos". I did not have iCloud Photo Library turned on.

I decided to turn iCloud Photo Library on both my iPhone and Macbook to see if the photos will be sorted in the correct chronological order.

However, the same incorrect order is still shown in my Macbook when it has finished syncing with iCloud.

I understand that "All Photos" are sorted by "Date added" but those photos back in 2014 were never manually added to my camera roll. The date stamp attached to each photo/video are still shown as 2014.I also never had this problem when I was on iOS 10.3.3.

Is there anyway to fix this? Will restoring back to iOS 10.3.3 fix this (unlikely given that iCloud is turned on and is showing the incorrect order)?

Thanks in advance.

This happened to me back between iOS 8 and iOS 9 beta. The only fix was to go through on my mac and edit the date on the affected photos. I tried everything else
