Every iCloud Photo Library beta (iPL) thread appears to have people running into the same issue - that iPL can get stuck 'uploading X photos' and never complete the upload. So far, the only way to fix this is to turn iPL off and on again. It's a device specific problem, because my iPad for example uploads to iPL fine, while my iPhone is stuck. It's not server limits either presumably therefore - I'm also well under the number of uploads/downloads published. I wonder if it's a fix therefore that can be made server side if it's only a problem with uploading on one device?

I've also tried
- Restarting device
- Closing photos app
- Taking more pictures to upload
- Coming onto wifi from cellular
- Plugging in, leaving photos open
- Emptying recently deleted (they count as photos to upload)

But none of them work. Anyone else had any other ideas or tried something else?

I look forward to the full launch og iPl with the photos app for mac next year. Hopefully it won't be too late in the year...
