Hello all,
I am pretty excited for iCloud photo library so that I can have the same photos and albums and edits across my iPhone and iPad. And I know that they are making a photos app for Mac in 2015, but will this only be for photos taken on iOS devices? Or will it work with my camera as well? I don't want to store all my photos from my camera in the cloud, but I am wondering how the photos app on Mac will work with my camera's pictures; will it replace iphoto??
Thanks,
JerTheGeek

I imagine if you use the new photos for Mac app, anything imported will be added to your iCloud Photo Library. You can always use Aperture still for your camera edits you don't want in iCloud. Unsure about iPhoto's fate right now.

Apple has until early 2015 to figure out iPhoto.
