I assume Apple will update iPhoto app to work better with iCloud Photo? No word about Aperture 4 for a long time. :apple:

I would think iPhoto for Mac might be dead, but there is no way the new iCloud Photo could fully replace Apertures functionality...

Craig Fedhirigi (or however you spell his name) mentioned during the WWDC Keynote that they were working on a photo solution from the ground up to incorporate iCloud. Sounds like iPhoto is definitely on its way out, but I don't know about Aperture.

iPhoto and Aperture are two different pieces of software, targeted at two different types of users. One is consumer, the other is pro. People really need to stop putting them both in the same light.

So is iPhoto for iPhone also dead, it would be weird for the mac version to be but not the iOS version, granted i never used the iOS version anyway.

But they discontinued Aperture as well.
