This is off topic but I just wanted to get it some visibility since Google's unlimited photo storage update. iCloud Photo Sharing (not iCloud Photo Library) gives users free photo storage for up to 500,000 photos in shared albums without taking up any iCloud space. It also does not limit photo sizes, so you can upload high res photos and video lossless from any browser. Why Apple did this, I have no idea, but it works and it is fantastic. Just wanted to throw that out there.

Of course maxing that storage out is tricky since you have 100 albums each containing up to 5000 photos.

The 1TB that Flickr gives you is approximately equivalent to 500,000 photos according to Yahoo.

But I tried iCloud photo sharing iPhone to iPhone and I'm not getting the original high resolution. Have you tried it?
