If I was to lose my phone and remotely wipe it I would hate to lose my contacts, photos and videos. Everything else like apps I could deal with reinstalling that's not a major concern. I have my contacts backed up on iCloud so I can visit www.iCloud.com and log in to see them there however I don't see an option for my photos and videos from my phone there. Is there a way of having my iPhone 4s sync with iCloud for automatic photo and video storage and back up as well like the contacts?

Not yet but if you have a Mac then I guess there is a way. Just turn off Photostream on iPhoto. Delete every pictures in iPhoto that have a copy on your phone. Turn on Photostream on iPhoto then import all your pictures and videos to iPhoto. All should be synced to Photostream as well.
You lost me there as I'm new to iPhone and have no idea what any of that means. My contacts were simple it did it automatically through iCloud there's no option like that for pictures and videos?
