iCloud Private Replay no longer automatically reconnecting when disconnecting from VPN

In macOS 15.1 and earlier, iCloud Private Relay would automatically reconnect after I disconnected from my third-party VPN. But now, in macOS 15.2, iCloud Private Relay will not automatically reconnect and I cannot manually connect it again either after disconnecting from my VPN. I need to restart my Mac to get iCloud Private Relay to connect again.

Is anyone else seeing this? Are there any workarounds to get iCloud Private Relay to automatically reconnect again?
